Pay Bill
At the end of your chosen billing period, you will receive a bill via email from ‘Netcomm’. If billing monthly, this bill will reflect the previous month’s services, not the upcoming month.
We use Trashbilling to handle our accounts. On their portal, you can pay your bill, change your card, or sign up for auto-pay. Please check your welcome email from ‘Missoula Compost Collections’ or any emailed bill for your account number.
If you are having trouble with this online, please call our account manager at 406-370-5876. We can handle payments and autopay updates over the phone.
When mailing a check, please mail it to the address stated on your bill. Please do not mail checks to our store’s address. Call 406-370-5876 for address.

Winter Options
Our winter options are available to keep services accessible and affordable for everyone in the community. Keeping your normal rate through the winter supports Missoula Compost, ensuring we can provide the services you love all year round!
Option 1: Winter Rate
A winter rate reduces service costs to compensate for the diminishing volume of compostable material. Winter rates apply to select plans, excluding 5 and 10-gallon services. Fill out a member form to change your account to a winter rate.
Option 2: Winter Bin
A winter bin is a small 5-gallon bin that is used during months with low compost volumes. This bin is the same cost as the winter rate, some members simply prefer utilizing a smaller bin. A one-time delivery fee will be applied for smaller bins upon initial delivery. A customer is free to switch a bin at their convenience. Fill out a member form to request a winter bin.
Option 3: Winter Pause
A winter pause runs from November to March. Once you are done cleaning fall debris, you have the option to put your compost bin into hibernation. All paused accounts will be automatically reactivated on the first day of spring. Pause extensions are available upon request. Store your bin over winter to avoid bin transfer fees. Fill out a member form to request a winter pause

Volunteer
The Green Team: Compost Legends
Missoula Compost donates regularly to Home ReSource’s Green Team.
The Green Team was developed to keep Missoula’s event waste streams clean. The Green Team supports events by helping participants and spectators sort waste into the correct stream: recycling, compost, or landfill.
Volunteering for the green team is a great way to support the community and raise awareness about sustainability efforts. Every volunteer sets a local precedent by practicing core values, leading by example, and setting expectations for a clean community.
Green events mean less impact, which means more events! It’s hard to lose with The Green Team on your side!
